Light wind and perfect conditions
The season is on – and we can’t wait to see you on the water in Hvide Sande!
We’re looking forward to a new season – opening day is May 1.
We’re closed for the winter after a season filled with all our amazing guests on the water at Kabelpark Hvide Sande. We look forward to welcoming you to the coming season.
Booking & intro course
All bookings are made through our online booking system – and we strongly recommend that you book an appointment in advance, especially during the busy summer months.
If you prefer a slower start, it is possible to book a spot on out intro courses in the morning before we open for regular operations.
About the park
Our cable park, which is Denmark’s largest, pulls up to 10 people at a time, with perfect conditions for beginners and advanced riders alike.
We also have a smaller beginner course (System 2.0) that we usually open when there is a long queue at the large facility, as well as for kite beginners and intro classes.
A good start
Wakeboarding and water skiing on the cable car is for anyone who likes to play on the water and has a fairly normal physique. The facility is beginner-friendly, and within the first hour, most people manage both the start and the first long side. Children can start from the age of 8.
1
Check-in
Booking and payment are always up front. We recommend that you start buying 1½ or 2 hours. The wristband has a chip that automatically detects your first start and keeps track of the time.
2
Changing rooms
Unless it’s really hot in summer, we always recommend wearing a wetsuit. If you don’t have your own, you can rent one from us. You can leave your change of clothes in the changing room while you’re on the water. You can leave your mobile phone and car key at the bar. All users of the cable must wear a vest and helmet. Make sure both parts fit and are properly tightened.
3
Preparation
As a beginner, you can choose to start with a pair of water skis or a beginner wakeboard. At the start dock there is a queue for standing start (water ski) and a queue for seated start (wakeboard). Make sure you’re ahead of the game, buckle up, and get ready before you reach the front of the queue to avoid unnecessary waiting.
4
The start
Show the operator your wristband and say it’s your first start; you will be shown the correct position. Once you have the handle in your hand, make sure you stay alert and concentrate. At some point, the light on the mast will change from red to green, your towline will be connected to the system and you will be pulled out onto the water.
And it's even affordable
